Hard Drive Issues

My system specs:
2.4C
1gig PC1066 RD RAM
P4T533-C Mobo 533 mhz FSB
Geforce 4 Ti4600 Graphic Card
400 WATTS PS

Main Drive: 36 gig Raptor 10k
Secondary Drives: 2 X 120GB 8mb cache(no problems)

The problem is when I go larger than 120Gb I have hard drive errors (data loss/Corruption). What could be causing this?
