Hard drive in raid array failed.... maybe.

My Dell Perc 5i says a drive is no longer acessible. However Seagate tools says the drive is fine.

The drive is pretty new and well within its warranty. Send it back?

That does not mean the drive is not bad. At work we have had drives that 1/3 of the disk was unreadable pass the seatools test. We have had similar results with WDC data lifegaurd. Have a look at the SMART with a program like CrystalDiskInfo.
