Ok well i got some new stuff today in the mail, one of those beeing a new heatsink. now after me and my friend got the heatsink installed, we go t bootup to check the temps, and i get to bios, as normal it reset to 100mhz and but,it wasnt detecting my ide drives. it would just sit at the "Detecting IDE Devices..." and so i try changing cables to no avail and i just sat there looking at it trying to figure out what was wrong and then the ide list came up, but this was like 2 minutes after i had rebooted it. so basicly the bios is going really really fucking slow. then it goes to this thing trying to get into window and it gives me these error things. and says something like disk failure enter cd to restore. or something. i dont know what do to. please help.

Jumpers? Sounds like a clear jumper problem. For the WD drives, you have to add a jumper to switch the 80GB drive from single (no slave) to master (w/ slave). Set your jumpers right, and you should be fine.

well ive had this all set up for a year now and it just happened after i installed my sp-97
