[h]ard error

As many know, the [h] was down for a bit, but before that I had been dealing with a user to buy his radeon. When the site came back online, i went to reply to his private message. After clicking send, the site tells me the 'specified user was not found'. I go back to his private message that he sent me, and noticed that all the information, spare the date, was missing from the left side of the post (where name and rank usually are). I used snaggit to make a quick movie to show what i mean. Why is this guy completly gone?

This happened to some accounts the last time there was a database error-people mysteriously got deleted. Majordomo fixed it iirc. You might PM him for a faster response.

It wasn't "the" post. It was the dozens of posts that proliferated and made their way into forum history.

well... i guess im one of those accounts that got deleted then . can't seem to logon onto my old account.

Once they are wiped from the database (which is apparently what happened), they can't be restored by any automatic process. Major and I have both manually re-set some of the info for certain accounts but it's not really "restoring" them.
