I remember a news article on the main page a few months ago that linked to a very good guide on neat cables. Anyone remember that or have a link?

Bytesector has the absolute best PSU sleeving guide there is:

http://www.bytesector.com/data/bs-article.asp?ID=295

It's a cast-iron b$#! to do this, but once you're done, it'll look tons neater and produce a fair bit of satisfaction. I did this this weekend, both with my power supply and all four fans going into my new case, and am very satisfied with the results. I used two Vantec sleeving kits from Plycon.com, Vantec EZ-Grip 5.25" power connectors (also from Plycon) with included removal tool, an ATX PSU connector removal tool from Xoxide.com, and additional odds and ends from FrozenCPU. Additional useful tools are a really sharp scissors, a brand new roll of making tape (old tape that's been lying around the house for years does not work well, and makes things a royal pain), a candle (for heatshrink tubing, small votive candles work far better than a lighter) and some additional small-diameter heatshrink tubing for my fan cables.

I'll be posting pictures of my complete mod when done. For neatening other cables, I bought round IDE and floppy cables, and will be sleeving the additional cables that are part of my Antec P160 case as I go.

in my experience dremel seems to not be so good cuz it spins so fast and the plexi begins to melt. i think i saw them using a hacksaw to cut plexi on 'pimp my ride' (sorry, mtv is one of the like 20 channels i get on tv). i think a ban saw would work well too.

The three best cable management guides I have seen are:

1) The one posted from Bytesector

2) The one by Holley

3) That one where the guy used flagging tape and liquid electrical tape. Cheap, but a super clean look.

If Earm wrote a guide, his would top all.

1) I can't get that link to work

2) Yes, very good.

3) link?

4) Earm?

Well, i did not follow any of the links on this page, but If you go to the "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" there is a section about cabling, you might find something new there.

(No, I have NOT read it myself, but I was looking for other things and i came across it)
