i was wondering if anybody knew about a piece of hardware that would have several temp sensors and instead of displaying them on a little display like the aerogate II it would plug into a usb port or a usb jumper and give a gui interface with the temps. i ask this becasue i have a ps1 lcd mounted in my case and want to disply temps on it, i have an aerogate II but the back light is blue and my color sheme is green/black

um, im not understanding the question... your asking for something to show temps on your video lcd?

google coolmon...

Like alittle screen that comes out of a USB? I think the Matrix is like that, but you will need to build a kind of break out box for it. I saw a post with a guy who made one for his setup. He had a shuttle machine ( Painted orange ) and built a box outta balsa wood i think.

I have never seen anything like what you talking about, but this might give you a starting point...

Good luck.

i all ready have a ps1 screen in my case and use it as a second moniter. i just want to show temps on it. my question is how do i do that?

edit: coolmon would do what i want but it can only use the temp sensors on the mobo i want to be able to use more sensors so i can display ram and vga and crap like that, i need a device that will alow me to plug more sensors into my mobo, get me now?

"Hardware Setup

Connect the thermistors to the gameport. The female 15 pin "D" connector on the computer/sound card has two rows of holes. One row has 8 holes and one row has 7. With the row of 8 on top, the holes are numbered from RIGHT to LEFT 1 through 8. Thermistor 1 connects between hole 1 and hole 3. Thermistor 2 connects between hole 1 and hole 6.

With the row of 7 holes on the bottom, the holes are numbered from RIGHT to LEFT 9 through 15. Thermistor 3 connects between hole 9 and hole 11. Thermistor 4 connects between hole 9 and hole 13.

NOTE: You may use hole 8 instead of 9 for the +5 volts lead for sensors 3 & 4 if you wish.

All connections MUST be made for a thermistor pair. (If you have only one thermistor, you may jump the unused axis [1 & 3 or 1 & 6]. If you have three thermistors, connect the first pair to [1, 3, and 6] and connect the third to either [9 & 11 or 9 & 13] then jump the remaining [9 & 11 or 9 & 13] with a wire or jumper.)

For more information (pictures) on connecting the thermistors to the gameport, please take a look at the gp_Temp4 page"

is the part i guess you were talking about. it kinda looks like what i want but it would be nice to get it in plain english, spanish would be good to:D for example what the hell is thermistor. is it like a brand of sensor or is it just a fancy name for a sensor. second how do you have to scensors on the same pin

"between hole 9 and hole 11. Thermistor 4 connects between hole 9 and hole 13."

Edit: after i posted this i saw the thing at the bottom about the pics, sorry about having you read so much but mabye your i.Q. went up a few points after anyway im still kind of unsure about those sensors. i don't know if my sensors will work with that they are the ones that came with my cooler master II see them here
