It has it's place, just not bolted directly to copper :)

I just don't know any more... Sure, it's easier to machine, yet all the parts that use it tend to cost MORE than their copper/lucite counterparts these days...

I could justify buying an aluminum MOSFET/NB/SB block or something, if it was a bit cheaper than the copper version... But they're not.

I know this is mainly due to local North American companies abandoning the use of aluminum, but still... It doesn't matter why it's a fact, it just matters that it's a truth.
