1) My GTX 295 just gave up on me. I'm looking for a replacement and also an upgrade but on a budget of $150 maybe 200 if its really a good deal and reasonable.

2) Right now I just wanna get my game on and play current games on high settings @ 1200p maybe some AA. Will this graphics card range bottleneck my config severely?

3) e8500 @4ghz
4gb ddr2
700 watts psu
gigabyte p45 mobo

A direct replacement for the GTX295 I would say is the GTX570 and GTX480 new, $230 and $200 respectively. Great alternatives, I would most likely recommend the HD7870 / HD7850 for under $200 and would be much more efficient than the two nvidia options at the moment. They're slightly better performing overall, uses MUCH less energy, more future proof I suppose, and just simply easier on the wallet. Whether or not your CPU will cause a bottleneck on those cards is a different story.

Take your pick.

Agree with dremic , else I'd go gtx570, I personally don't like anything but nvidia cards.

Nvidia GTX570 is a lot of card and if you shop around and are patient you can score a deal.
