AAAAAAHHHHHH! How could this happen? My water is green with plants growing in the bends in my tubing! This happened in the course of about 2 weeks. I have distilled water with water wetter and enough humidifier bacteria killer for 6 gallons in my system and this stuff is still growing!

I have been reading searches on here and simple green solution will flush it? I obviously have to flush the rad, pump, and water block after I order new tubing...unless that is saveable too. What is going to keep this stuff from coming back and how do I get rid of it!?

Go to the pet store and pick up some fish tank algaecide. It'll kill any living crap in your setup..or should, anyway.
Other than that, use zerex antifreeze in your loop next time. It will also act as a biocode and prevents corrosion as well.

The only problem with antifreeze as I understand it is that you need to use a considerable bit. I think that you would typically use a 50% anti-freeze solution in your car and as such, a lesser concentration would limit the anti corrosive and biocidal effects. But, anti freeze is some fairly viscous junk and will potentially decrease the cooling ability of your system.

But, I think that a system that doesn't work as well is far better than a system full or plants
;)

Most of this I got out of this guide:
http://www.overclockers.com/tips1153/

Most people use a 10:1 ratio of distilled water to zerex antifreeze.
It will, according to everyone who uses it, prevent bio growth and corrosion.

Personally, I went with Hydrx, as it acts as a biocide, corrosion inhibitor, and a surfactant (which may or may really make a difference in cooling). Perhaps a degree or two tops :p
Downside to it is that it's expensive.

That Hydrx stuff is just basicly over priced Low Tox Anti Freeze (Propylene Glycol). If you have a pure copper system, 10% is more than enough. If you have mixed metals in your system 25% should be more than enough. There are some companies that say to use as much as 33% to prevent corrosion.
