with the purchase of my new motherboard coming soon(NF7-S) i will need a better HSF than my dinky volcano10, this thing can barely keep me under 50C at 3200 speeds. what do you guys recommend as in overall HSF that takes in its price, cooling ability, noise, ease of installation, and size/weight(dont wanna crush my 2500)?

Zalman CNPS7000A-ALCu or Cu are great.

Thermalright SP-97 with a Panaflo medium will give great performace/noise.

Two of the best heatsinks.

Gotta go with the Thermalright's they are bad ass. My SLK-900 keeps my CPU w/in 2 - 3c of the system temp at idle and it only goes up 4 - 6c of the system temp when playing games. (and yes these temps are correct because I use the motherboard diode and a Vantec Nexus 101 which has a thermal probe)

i was looking at the zalmans also, how easy is it for someone to crush their CPU with those? their shouldnt be much pressure on it since my case stands upright but when i apply it i will have to do it on its side, is it safe?
