at the beginning of this semester I changed rooms and moved my computer.. when I did, the monitor would not display at all for some reason... so I went off to class and when I came back it worked.. thought nothing of it...

Bring my computer home for christmas, wont display... unplug the power to the graphics card and plug it back in and now it works... woke up this morning, power went out so the computer is off... graphics card wont display anything... I've taken the graphics card out, put it back in... done everything... its an x800 xt, pci-e

While looking at the graphics card, I did notice the little connectors and Im not sure if they are all supposed to be full or not? Heres a picture to show you what I mean...

and on the front...

and the pci-e slot

I put in a pci voodoo3 and the monitor started displaying right away, so its got to be the graphics card or the pci-e slot? any ideas? I don't think the voodoo 3 can handle a 2005fpw and another monitor :(

no other computer with a pci-e slot around :( the thing that I don't understand is why when I sit around and do nothing for a while does it magically start to display again? I've reconnected it again and again but nothing happens... last night when fooling around with it, it just started displaying...
