I tried posting this in the game section first and they suggested I ask this here. Halo was working fine a few months ago, then I put it down for a while. I just started playing again, and now it looks like this.

I have an 1.3 athlon, 512pc2100, geforce 3 non ti. Has anyone ever had this problem before or know how to fix it. I've uninstalled, reinstalled Halo already, changed the video preferences back to defualt, etc, and nothing has fixed
it.
Edit: This links should work. I did update halo to the newest patch. Still no fix. Any ideas.

Your link don't work.

Turn your D3D settings to high quality. You probably changed drivers and it defaulted back to blend, or performance or what ever the hell Nvidia uses now.

It could be a dead card. How long have you had it? Have you ever overclocked it?

It'll three years old in august. It plays Madden 2k4, NBA Live 2k4, NWN, CoD, Max Payne 2 just fine. It's just this one game. It has never been overclocked.

It looks like my old Rage Pro or Savage2000 trying to play CS :D
Have you updated the drivers and halo doesn't like them?

The thing is, I did update drivers after I found this problem. The game was working fine, then I got busy with school. The only thing I think played during that time was Diablo II which I had to reinstall. After about a month, tried playing Halo, and it was like this, and then I tried updating my drivers. Nothing changed when I did the update.

Looks like a driver setting. Have you played with halo's game settings at all? If not you may want to.

thats how my game looks too, you mean thats not right?
:D
try adding this line to your shortcut -Useff

Ah link works now. O wow. That's not the D3D settings deal that most people whined about when it first came out. That sh!t is NEAT-O!! Like playing Halo on shrooms!

got it fixed. I know that I did a complete unistall and then reinstalled it before, and that didn't fix it. I started thinking the only thing I had installed since Halo went from working to that crazy stuff was Diablo 2. Uninstalled that. Then did the uninstall/reinstall of Halo and now it works fine. Thnx for the help guys.
