GPU WARS

There are dozens of reviews out there that should give you a really good idea if not a direct comparison of the 2 cards.
 
Only major hurdle for the GTX 660ti to get over the GTX 580 is the much smaller memory interface but the GTX 660ti is faster and runs cooler and is more energy efficient and in the end I think the GTX 660 ti is so fast that it can catch up to and pass the GTX 580 while saving energy and running cooler.


I'd rather have the GTX 660 ti.
 
keep your gtx580's. the anandtech benchies of the gtx580 are the same benchies from over a year ago during release with outdated drivers. they're rather neck n neck between the two (performance wise). going from a gtx580 to a gtx660ti is a sidegrade and certainly not worth spending extra on it imo.
