Hey I'm thinking on upgrading my "HTPC"/ Console PC's GPU since my TV was 720p and now I might move it to another room which has a bigger 1080p display

This PC has an i5 750 @ 3.5Ghz with turbo enabled and a Geforce GTS250.

I was thinking on upgrading to an ATI 5770 alone, or an ATI 5830 with the Silverstone ST45SF PSU.

My research shows that the current GPU has a TDP of 150W so the recently appeared GTX460 could probably fit the bill even without upgrading my PSU.

The system is SFF of course inside a Silverstone SG05, I'm not here for the SFF part. I'd just like your opinion on what to get to get a noticeable improvement over my GTS250 @ 1080p

Yes the GTX460 will definitely be a huge upgrade over the GTS 250.
Be aware that it is a double slot card though.
But at 8.25" long, the 460 is in fact shorter than most normal GTS 250s.

Space is just fine, yeh maybe I will get the 460 If I can get some extra money I would probably go to the 470+ PSU upgrade combo
