is there currently a problem with the work servers for ATI GPUs?

I'm trying to fire up another dual GPU rig (2x4850s :( I know not much) but the GPUs can't seem to get work.

Seems that way. One of my Ati clients cannot upload or receive data for well over an hour now. Another one is nearly finished a WU. I will see if it also has problems...

There's servers specific to the ATI GPUs? I thought the GPU client pulled the same WUs regardless of that GPU you're running..?

Anyways, if what I'm assuming is true, then I've been getting plenty of work for my GPUs. Not sure what's going on with yours. You tried re-installing the client?

From what I remember reading in the past, yes.

No, this problem just occurred earlier in the afternoon. I'll wait to see if my other client has the same issue before I decide to reinstall anything. I have a WU in queue...

Repeatedly attempted to restart.

my nvidia cards have no trouble getting work. Only my ATI cards are having trouble.

and I'm not really all that impressed with the PPD of this Phenom 2.5 Ghz. Much lower than I would have expected out of a 2.5 Ghz quad. Currently working on the OC tho, maybe that will help

Second Ati client confirmed cannot connect. This is a Stanford server issue. :(

Getting WUs now.

Now to see what this thing can do

Phenom 9850 Black Edition
__Stock
_____1.25v
_____12.5x Multiplier
_____2500 MHz
__Current OC
_____1.3375V
_____14.5x Multiplier
_____2900 MHz
__Max before AMD Overdrive Blue screened
_____1.3375v
_____15.0x
_____205 FSB
_____3075 MHz

Now to figgure out what 2 stock 4850's can do....(suggestions anyone?)

if they don't add up something greater than 3500 PPD, they will probably become a pair of paperweights. I have a 8800GS that can do that cooler on less power

Gigabyte ga-ma790fx-ds5

and the cooler is a TRUE with 2 120mm fans in push pull

so I have some headroom in the cooling dept

Try seting the ram to 667 specs (set the timing to 5-5-5-15) and the Multi to 14, raise the fsb in 5 mhz increments until you get to 240fsb.

I have a Athlon II 620 quad that loves this combo on stock voltage.
