GPU Load causes Case Lighting to Flicker

So, I installed some new LED light strips in my case.

Now, every time the GPU loads and I hear the coil whine, the LED lights flickers..

I would hook up a multimeter to the power plug you have the lights plugged into, and check the voltages when you run your video card under load. You may have a loose connection to the lights or videocard.
It may be something as simple as a shoddy connection in the lights.
 
I noticed that the lights were hooked to one of the molex connectors that make up the 6-pin PCIe connector going to one of the cards.

I moved the lights connector to another cable and the flicker stopped.
