Can someone send me their NVidia fermi windows client cores? I would like to try something here.
 
OK, I got a 460 GTX folding under linux with wine. Only issue is controlling the fan speed. Looks like th elatest copy of nvclock does not recognize the 460. Anyone know of an app to control the fan speed?
 
Get a small socket fan extender and plug it in the mobo?

MSI Afterburner won't run under Wine?
 
That involves opening up the GPU..... plus that would cause it to run 100% all the time.
 
IIRC nvidia-settings (bundled control utility) could be used for that.
