GPU Clock Speeds

I was recommended this gpu for my build last week and I was looking around and saw this one. Only differences are 30Mhz faster core clock and 50Mhz faster memory clock. Price difference, as you can see, is $10. Is that a worthwhile upgrade for $10? I don't know a whole lot about the factors which influence GPU performance so I appreciate the help.

They use the same cooler so the only difference is the minor factory overclock which all chips can do anyway. Generally the binned model will overclock better but it could be 5 MHz or nothing...or even worse depending on your luck of the draw. It's up to you whether you consider the bump worthwhile.

The person who recommended the first card told me to go this route instead: Option 3
So I think that will be the direction I'm going. Same clock speed as option 1 with 2 fans instead.

Option 3, Im sure it has a bit more noise to it though.

You won't notice a difference in performance with the minor speed increases. Usually the factory overclocked cards tend to do a bit better with oc'ing further and typically come with better coolers, this is not the case in this situation and you don't seem like the kind of person whos interesting in OC'ing the gpu.

You would be correct. I plan on oc'ing the CPU but not the GPU. When I'm gaming it will just be one monitor at 1920x1080 so at least for the short term I will have more than enough power.

And a bit more noise wont be an issue. Thanks for the help.
