Anyone getting "Attempt to get work failed, and no other work to do" from their GPU clients?

I've got 5 of 8 waiting on work. Folding Forum doesn't show any issues with the GPU Assignment Server. I did try switching values in the configuration to see if that might "jar" it, but no joy
 
I'm good here.

Restart them and see what happens. (if you haven't already)

No problems here. Just try to be patient, and hopefully you'll get something soon.
 
Ok. So I've been patient 24 hours. I have 3 GPUs that have consistently not gotten work to do. I've tried deleting the files within the folder, restarting, restarting with the -advmethods flag on.

Could there be an issue on my side? If so, what could that be? Any way to diagnose it? I have 3 of 6 GPUs on the box running fine. The three that are having issues and GPU 1, GPU 2, & GPU 3. GPU 0, GPU 4, & GPU 5 seem to be ok.



 
If three clients can get work and three cannot then I don't think it's a firewall stopping them.

One thing to try.
Make a copy of a working clients folder.
Rename it as needed.
Inside it delete the work folder and the queue.dat and the unitinfo.text files.
Open the client.cfg file with Windoze notepad and change the MachineID to an unused/broken one.
Warning:- Only ever use notepad to edit the config file as other editors can bork it.
Make a new shortcut to start it, if needed.
Fire it up.
Does it grab new work ??

If it does then rinse and repeat twice more.

Ps. All my 17 GPU clients are working fine.

I guess I needed to delete and restart a few more times. All 6 are good to go now. Hopefully I won't have this issue when I get the 3 x GTX285's running on Monday :D
 
Me thinks you have done something to anger the GPU gods.
