I need help configuring my bios, just reformatted yesterday, so please help me get this configured correctly! I had to reset it before I reformatted because I did something that caused it to not even boot. *doh*

Here are my specs and then the pics I took.

Soyo KT400 Dragon Ultra Platinum (like the silver PCB really helps... )
AMD Athlon XP 2700+ @ 2.17Ghz (factory)
Vantec AeroFlow HSF TMD Fan
Corsair XMS CL2 PC2700 512MB DDR
nVidia GeForce 5900 (non-ultra) with new Bios making it a 5950...
120GB WD SE
200GB Maxtor w/ 8MB buffer

I got my virtual memory in windows set to use the 200GB, both settings are at 2GB.

Since your hard drive is much slower than your memory, having 2GB of virtual memory is a waste, even if it's only 1% of your total hard drive space. Lower it to a gig.

For now, change your DRAM Timing mode to SPD or Auto. Your memory is set at CAS Latency 2.5, when it should be at 2. Boost your DRAM voltage to 2.7 or so just in case.

Then change the AGP Fast Write to Enabled, your AGP voltage to 1.7 or so, and change the AGP Aperture size to the amount of memory you have on your 5900. I'm not sure what options you have under AGP Performance, but if there's a Turbo option or something, set it to that.

Do NOT raise the AGP voltage. You might kill your card. Raise your Chipset voltage, that is perfectly safe.

Stability? He said he flashed the 5900 to be a 5950. You don't think it'd need the extra voltage to account for the faster core and memory speed?

So far I changed the VM to 1GB instead of 2. Going to change the DRAM timing back to Auto, my ram says CL2 on the side of it, so I knew that 2.5 setting was wrong. As for the AGP stuff, changing that now, but the last thing is the Voltages, what needs to be done on those?

So what should I do on these? Leave them be, or up the voltage?

Also, is it easy to get Corsair PC2700 to run at 3200 (400Mhz)?

Maybe nothing. Your memory should run at CL2 3-3-6 at 2.5V. If you can keep your AGP voltage the same and not see any artifacting while playing games or running a benchmark, then you don't have to change that either.

The video card regulates its own voltage. Upping the AGP voltage only increases the voltage to the actual AGP port. If you were to overclock it from 66MHz to, say, 70MHz for the extra bandwidth.
