Got my new server but SAS6 SATA raid only 1.5Gbps?

ok so i just got my new Dell R310 with a SAS6 raid controller
it runs 2 raid arrays the primary OS array (dell 250gb drives) and a secondary data array (WD 1TB drives)

the WD drives are however only showing up as 1.5Gbps in the SAS PHY Properties they are WD1002FAEX SATAIII drives and should be capable in this setup of 3Gbps i would think...
i could be wrong....

any ideas?

Not sure why it's doing that, but it's nothing to worry about really. The drives aren't even capable of speeds higher than 1.5gbit.

this is true i just found this reading and for the life of me couldn't figure out why it would be 1.5 vs 3
