googlemail = UK... gmail = US... ? ? ?

is 'googlemail' still 'gmail' in the us of a? and if so, do new invites from a us of a based account still get a 'gmail' address, rather than 'googlemail' address...? if so, can i be majorly cheeky and and ask anyone who has a spare invite from a us based account to please invite me, albeit to my googlemail account...?

you never heard this before?? it was posted as a link on the main page... they had to change it because of a lawsuit.

If you email [email protected] or [email protected] it goes to the same person. That is why they are still in court.

yeah i heard about it... i was a couple of days late with actually signing up for an account so i got stuck with a googlemail one... so your saying even if i get a gmail one it might revert back to being a googlemail account once the lawsuit is all sorted out?
