• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Here's what I greatly dislike about the [H]ard Forums...

For yelling out loud, I cannot search anything on the forums here through Google.com

I can use Google to search through a lot of the forums out there, including the more popular ones like www.xtremesystems.org and the likes.

Sometimes, I feel like it's a waste of time contributing to the Hard Forums when the rest of the world (who do not know about HardOCP) cannot search for anything posted here.

Is it done on purpose? If yes, then for what reason?

Things have to be rather popular to pop on google. For example, if you search for a video card model name, you likely won't find anything for a while that is on hardforum through google. On the other hand, if you search for something specific, like the FW900 monitor that is rather popular in the displays forum, it does show up on google. If you are trying to find something specific on the forum, just use the built in search function. I don't think that many people find this forum through google anyway.

I think he's talking about the site specific search on google. But I never use it, so I'm not sure if it works or not

About 34% of the daily traffic comes from Google.
