Good sub-$100 2 speaker PC system?

My girlfriend is looking for a set of speakers for general music, under $100. She doesn't need surround or anything, just a two speaker system. Maybe a sub. Any recommendations? She'd be using it for party music, and wants to be able to crank it up a bit.
 
Get a used integrated amp, and some bookshelf speakers if possible.

If that's out of the question, try to grab some Promedia 2.1's. I think they are the best bet for 2.1 "party" computer speakers. You should be able to get a used set for about $100.
