hey after i put all 5 fans in my case, it became loud. i dont really mind it while i am playing games and listening to music, but when i just surf the web i dont need this noise. also my dad started to complain that comp is too loud :rolleyes: . i tried SpeedFan but it doesnt seem to controll any of my fans, plus 4 of them are connected to molex. i would like it to controll 6 fans. i looked at this enermax its cheap and reviews say its pretty good but it only takes 3pin fans. 2 of mine are 4 pin. i also looked at this zalman but from reviews i read its not that simple to set it up. something like i have to strip 2 wires.... i want it to be as simple as possible. i have this antec case and i am afraid that if i get something with knobs, door will be in the way. my budget is $30. unless i find something VEY good i'll go to $40. thanks and sorry for the long post

Idk if u are a cheap as me, but i didn't want to spend 30$+ for a good on/off button..
anyway 5v/off/12v

You might consider reducing the number of fans in your case.

I had an older antec loaded with all 4 fans and it was loud as hell when put alongside my power supply fan, cpu fan, and my video card with 2 fans.

Anyways, I took my baseline temperature readings and then started to remove fans. I got down to a single intake and a single exhaust before I got a noticable temperature difference. Even then, it was only 5 or 6 degrees (fahrenheit), which I can live with, considering the baseline was only 90 degrees.

That removed a great deal of noise for me, even with both fans running full speed.
