i found a bunch of parts in my room recently:

Intel Celeron cpu...dunno the speed, it doesnt say on it(at least that i know of)
found the stock heatsink and fan
some mobo that the celeron was in, so i know it'll work
128mb pc100 ram...or 2100
some video card
some sound card
3 hd..i think 1 WD and 2 Seagates all around 8gb's 5400rpm(or 5200...keep forgetting which)

just need a cheap psu and case

so what if i set it up and used it for folding? i just need a cheap wireless networking card to connect to the internet(probably off of ebay for <$20, unless someone here has one :D )
and put linux on it i guess because its free...

and since i have one monitor, get a KVM switch (again off ebay for cheap) and use it to switch from my main pc to the folding one?

my main question is if 128mb will be enough for linux and folding? and if theres a possibility taht it wont work cuz the cpu isnt fast enough?

Yes, 128MB wouold be enough for Linux and folding. Albiet, not very effecient, but every clock cycle counts!
