Good Drawing tool

I know that Microsoft One note is the best application that one can use to for writing notes in a class. But when it comes to FAST drawing graphs, charts or other diagram I can't find any tool. Can someone suggest me one?

Typing and imputing graphs. For instance I am studying economics and I want to draw a simply demand graph. Which is the best tool for that?

Maple is pretty cool, though you'll have a bit of a learning curve. MatLab is also cool, but even more of a learning curve. Neither are extremely fast until you learn their UI... once you have it down though you can do just about anything.
