Anyone using a Gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP-939 MB? Looking to switch from my P4 to an AMD64. Heard Gigabyte makes a very solid MB, figured I'd get your opinions.
Also saw the GA-K8NS Ultra-939 MB. Less expensive, but specs look identical.
Let me say that this mobo has had numerous issues, I'd say most of them are worked out now though. The most important thing to remember if you get this board is to use memory that is on the compatibility list. Crucial Ballistix are good and so is OCZ. The difference between this model and the other is that it has the dual power system and the newer one doesn't. Now I don't know why Gigabyte felt like they needed to put out a new model (maybe it's a revision with all the bugs worked out, or maybe they just want to avoid the bad rep the first one got.) Anyway, do your hw before buying
