Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hello all.
I am looking to get started in folding. I attempted to access the hardfolding website but can not get through. I would like to join the [H] team and give credit to the forums team but not sure how to do this. Any help would be great thanks
here is a link to the stanford folding website where you can download folding @ home. the console client is the most efficient. make sure to set your team # to 33 for the [H]orde
the hardfolding website is down and is being moved to another server methinks.
There's a link to the FAQ. You can go to the stanford website in that post to get the client. After you install it, just right click it the system tray and configure it. Put in a username and make sure your team number is 33, and that's practically it for the basics. If you want to get more in depth thats up to you.
You can use the same username and team for all your machines to combine your stats. Also, you can borg friends and familys computers (with permission, of course). Most people don't mind after you explain the cause. At the end of the day we (everyone here, and everyone involved in the f@h project) are all in it to help save lives.
