A friend of mine is having PC troubles. She was using it one day and the screen went all funny and the PC locked up. She flicked the switch off on the PSU because it would not shut down.
She tried to turn it back on and is gettiing shocked by the PSU. She got it on and tried to turn the PC back on. It will not boot, it goes to a black boot screen and never boots Windows.
I'm assuming that the PSU is shorting out and killed the HDD, possibly fucked the video card, and maybe more. I was going to get her a new PSU and see if it will run with a new PSU, but I think she may need a new HDD too.

but anyways enough bout the old school days , thats wierd she got shocked , a replacement is definatly in hand , post system specs , and i can find you a decent powersupply affordable.
