Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
So yeah, I have -advmethods enabled and I can receive WUs >5MB, but the one I'm working on is 41 points and the past 5 or 6 were all less than 200. What gives?
Some people have commented before that using the -advmethods flag often results in getting wus that are smaller in points - I don't know if that still holds true for todays distributions. Also, you can check out the current proteins, wus, and points directly from the servers here. Looking at that link it appears that a lot of the wus they are sending out are under the 300point mark. Keep in mind that even the low point wus still need to get crunched. They are important to science also, and in general the low point wus should crunch faster than the larger pointers.
