Getting IP banned

Hi I was IP banned at some forum, how do I work around that and register a new username?
 
But then how do I post? Being anonymous(I am using guardster) it won't let me be continualy logged it. How do I enable (cookies) I think it is using Guardster? Or is there a better proxy server?
 
Well I don't know what the hell guardster is. You need to connect through a proxy server. It won't work if you run a proxy on your own computer because it doesn't just automagically change your ip address. When you go through a proxy server, it appears as though the proxy is the one making the request to the webserver. If you go through your own proxy server, then it will still report your own ip address. However, if you did something serious enough for an ip ban, then that probably means they don't want you there. I know I wouldn't want you around here if you had been banned.
