Getting into a Sonata III

G'day,

I'm trying to get behind the front panel of my Sonata III, I looked at the manual and it said it can't be removed... argh...

I want to get to the front audio connectors to see if there is grounding issues with them.

Anyone done this before? Without breaking the front panel?

Hi Tudz,

The front panel to the Sonata III can be removed. One of the things you need to do first is to take out your CD drive or anything that is in your 5.25 bay. You should then take out both side panels and you should be able to take out the front panel from there. It's a little bit difficult to explain but when you take out the front panel, pay attention on the 5.25 bay.

Only one side panel comes off, the other is riveted on. I'll whip out the 5.25" drives and fiddle around and see if I can get the front off.

i used one of those cases for my parents, thining it would be a silent case. rofl. not even close.
