I can't seem to OC my Prescott 2.4 for anything. I'm running an MSI 865GM2-LS mobo with the latest bios and the Vcore is 1.5V (the lowest my bios allows). My Samsung ram is stable at 2.5-5-2-2. Case temp is 28C, and cpu temps are 40C (idle) and 50C (load). I'm using a Swiftech HS with a Y.S Tech 80mm fan that pushes good air. The problem is I can't even get a +100mhz OC. The computer just restarts during Windows startup and with a +200mhz OC, Windows hangs right before the log in. Power is from an Enermax 420W. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

No. I haven't touched the Vcore. The lowest Vcore my bios has is 1.5V and it goes up to 1.8V. Spread Spectrum is enabled and its currently set to its lowest setting which is +/- 0.025V. Sandra says my Prescott should be running at 1.4V. Any other ideas?

Try upping the vcore it definitely helps. Running my 2500 at 1.91 Ghz my vcore is 1.7. When I clock my 2500 to 3200 I have to set my vcore to 1.9volt.
 
Finally! I upped my Vcore to 1.6, disabled spread spectrum, and lowered my ram timings slightly. I'm taking it slow at first tho. 2.4 OCed to 2.6 :p and climbing :)
