Getting a LCD/Plasma shipped

This is a question for anyone that bought a large (42inch +) LCD or Plasma online that lives in an apartment.

Do shippers (UPS/FEDEX/AIT) bring it up to you if you live on the second/third floor of an apartment? Or do I need "white glove" service or w/e its called

Unless you have a roomie/friend who is going to be around on the day of delivery then you will need the "white glove" service. Even though most plasmas weigh less than 75lbs they are too wide and awkward to carry yourself. I ended up buying mine online but through BB because they deliver tv's and such to the inside of your house...that usually won't be the case with Fedex, UPS etc..

When I bought my 42" Panasonic plasma, it came in a box which is approximately 5 feet long by 2 feet wide and 4 feet high ( I still kept the box as my son's playhouse ). My neighbor ordered a Samsung and the box is very similar in size.
