I'm about to order a 2405FPW. My question is - will I need to upgrade my radeon 9700 pro to use it correctly? I saw the required video cards and didnt see a 9700 pro, but saw that the mobility 9700 pro and 9800 pro was supported. Will I be able to use the native resolution?

Any suggestions? Thanks.
 
As long as your drivers are up to date I'm pretty sure your 9700 Pro will be fine...correct me if i'm wrong...
 
They probably added extra support for those res's after you picked up the 9700 via drivers. I upgraded from an x800XL to a 7800GTX to play games on the thing though.
 
I"ve had my 2405 hooked up to my 9700 PRO since June and have never had a problem. I love my monitor and wonder how I ever lived with out it. I could never go back to a smaller screen. I did upgrade the drivers on the ATI site before hooking up the monitor.
