First how do u change the drive letters? and what should the max psi be to clean the inside of the comp?
Wish me luck, after i get these questions answered i will be reformatting (again) to figure out my god dam problem
 
Under what operating system would you like to change drive letters?
 
Right click "My Computer" -> Manage -> Disk Management -> Right click on drive -> Change drive letters and paths.
You cannot change you "system" drive letter.

Whats the problem.

The way I set up my comp is.
Start with only one hard drive, one cd drive and both floppies.
Format and install Windozes.
Floppies are A: & B:.
That gives me C: D:
Move the D: to Z:
Install my other hard drives and cd drives.
Format them in the order I want.
That gives D: E: F: G: H:.
Move the cd/ dvd drives around.
That gives I: J: K: L:.
Then add my network drives.
M: N: O: P: Q: R: S:.

Still got room to expand.

what? what do you mean... from your fans??? your no where near close to anykind of damaging winds. it not like its going 40mph inside there.
 
I believe hes cleaning his case with a air compressor...he wants to know what PSI to set it on, he doesn't want to damage anything. :rolleyes:

As for the compressed air, do not spin the fans. Grab a pencil and use the eraser to stabilize the fans. Other than that just don't go crazy. Enjoy!
 
Are you after swopping your two drives around so that you can install Windozes on the second one.

If so then either .....

You need to open your case.
First check your drives are ide drives.
If they are and on one cable then check the back of your hard drives.
There should be a jumper there either on cable select or master/slave.
If they are on cable select then you just need to reverse the possition of the drives on the cable.
If they are on master/slave then first you need to change the jumpers around.
So that master is slave and visa versa.
Then swop the position of the drives around on the cable.
It will probably help with the cableing if you swop the position of the drives in the case.
When you reboot you will find you old HDD0 is now HDD1 and visa versa.
If each drive is on a seperate cable then just swop cables over.

If your going to install Windozes then your probably best to leave the second drive disconnected untill windozes is installed.
Just backup anything you dont want to loose but any data on the old Windozes drive should be ok..

Or........

The other way would be to go into the bios and change boot order.
The boot off the XP cd.
Delete the partitions on both drives.
Reboot and then install on your second drive.
