What do u think i can max my video card around. If anyone has had this card. Thank you.
 
When i atuo detect it says 310/443. Is that 443 doucle b/c of the ddr memory or is it 443? I used the coolbits overclocker so it shows up on my drivers.

With a fake marketing name like the 5500, its worthless anyways.

ok so that was a little harsh. I still dont know what core it actually has. Well need to know more, because the 5500 isnt actually a card.
 
Its a 5200(non ultra) thats been overclocked by the manufacture. I think most of them start out around 270/400 (I could be wrong).
 
Since I have no experience with the specific card, I'll give you the generic answer. Since every card is going to differ drastically from another in terms of how well it overclocks, your only real option is to find the max yourself. Find one max (mem or core) without artifacts, back it down to default, find the other max, and then try to get them both there together. Chances are that wont happen, since its harder on the card, but youll usually be within 10mhz of either max.
 
if you want a cheap card get the bfgtech 5700ultra....it's on sale on their website for 130 this week...
 
damn too late i bought a 5500, all i want to play is steam games(which is the halflife egine) and warcraft III. Those are the only games i play. so i guess it alright.
 
I heard its a NV34. Is that good i don't know anyting about nvidia. I used to have a 9800pro but i sold it. and i got a cheap video card b/c i gave up gaming.

But after that shock i would just do as sKiTz0 said and inch it up until you find the max.But it should be fine for HL1 and warcraft at least!
 
No i sold my whole system and then build another one. Becuase i dun really game anymore.
