Ok well my second system in my sig shows the computer i currently have My PNY Geforce 4 ti4600( Mem:650 MHz ... great system But has 8x AGP capabilitys...
I just purchased 2 other Geforce 4's
____
ASUS V9480/TVD
GeForce4 Ti4800 SE
Engine Clock 275MHz
Memory Clock 550MHz (275MHz DDR)
____
ASUS V9280S
NVIDIA® GeForce4 Ti 4200-8X
Video Memory 3.3ns 128 MB DDR SDRAM
Engine Clock 275 MHz
Memory Clock 600MHz (300MHz DDR)

Now the question is which card to use??? Yeah i know there is not significant Advantage from 4X AGP to 8X AGP.... and With shear clock speed the PNY 4600 should kick the most ass... but who knows... Any suggestions???
And no im not selling any of these cards...

If the ASUS V9280S has more room to overclock IMO :D

Good Luck

Im surprised that the v9280 has a higher memory clock than the 9480. Are you sure you have that right? The 4800se = 4400 with agp 8x. I didnt notice an imporvment when i got a 4800se after my regular 4400 died on me.

Don't buy either card. AGP 8X makes little to no difference in real world usage. If you want a better card, spring for a 9700/5900 series card or better.

I agree with both. Wait for the new video cards coming out mid year or get a cheap 9800 pro.

Yeah when i saw the specs i was blown away!... how the heck can a 4400 be slower then a 4200??? neways... the 4200 looks really cool. copper heatsink, ramsinks... the works... where as the 4400 looks a tad bit plain...

Its really a matter of which card to choose since i have both cards sittings here.. yeah i already purchased them... couldnt turn down a killer deal! and the geforce 3 in my althlon rig can always use the extra boost...

You upgraded from a ti4600 to a ti 4600? wtf?

return those cards and get a 9500pro/97/9800

if you're lucky you can find someone selling a 9500pro for about $130. 9700s around $160, and 9800 pros $180+

you could also probably find 9600pro for around the 120 mark, and xts for about 150 (new) no hl2 coupon though.

4600 beats both, and the other 2 card will probly be about equal in preformance.

Check the sig... i have 2 other systems that could use the extra speed... I was just wondering if the two new cards were better then the older ti4600... I got both cards brand new really cheap, and could always use them for other rigs...

Thanks again everyone for your help!!!
