I posted this in the nvidia section, but I figured many of you might not navigate over that way, and i'm at my wits end. Plus it seems like more of a general video problem than a brand specific. Delete my other thread, mods, if you need to.

I'm having some trouble with my Geforce 3 Ti200 in a particular computer setup. And JUST in that computer set up.

I've had these same components for over 2 years and they've always worked perfectly together. Recently however, my hard drive died, and in the process of sticking a new hdd in and formatting, etc. my video would no longer display when I started the computer. Strange, I thought.

I tried everything, and just stuck a new card in there. Worked great. I stuck a PCI card in, worked fine. An AGP, worked fine. I tried the Geforce3 in two different computers...they...worked fine.

When I try to start the computer with the Geforce3, it does not post. No beep codes, nothing. I hear a lot of fan whirring and a black screen and my monitor telling me that it needs a signal. Obviously.

This is really frustrating, and I was just wondering if you all had any ideas.
