Just got my first-est LCD ever, a 21" Gateway FPD2185W from Best Buy w/ a 10% coupon + gift cards (scored it for 380!). Initial impressions: beautiful screen, excellent viewing angle, awesome height/tilt/rotate abilities, etc.
However...I wasted about 6 hours trying to get Linux to display stuff at the full 1680x1050 res...right now, it's stretching 1280x1024 thanks to the uselessness of the integrated Intel controller, so I'm looking for a cheap DVI-port'd PCI-Express card to mate to it. More to come later!
