Curiousity is what I'm working with tho. What if I want to do Athlon64 939-pin in a few months with them? Should this work out ok? explain.
HyperX PC-4000 is crap for AMD solutions because of the terrible timings it runs at. On the Pentium side, where FSB > Timings, it's great, but otherwise stick with PC-3000 that still has BH-5s in it and oc the hell outta it.
For current A64 and Pentium 4 processors and the upcoming AMD processors stick with PC3200 or PC3500. PC4000 is pretty much good for nothing unless your motherboard doesn't have dividers. If your board has dividers then there is no point in buying PC4000 unless CAD is what you live and breathe for. PC4000 has bad timings that cannot outperform slower speed PC3200 ran at 2-3-2-5 or 2-2-2-5.
