How can I flatten out this wavy gaming pad? Is there a way that I can heat treat it and then reshape it ? Or.. is the only way to flatten it with something heavy as it's "memory" rubber.

try heating it up with hot water, then placing it under something heavy...like half a set of Encyclopedias. Leave it there for about a week. May or may not work.

But definately heat it up as heat causes materials (especially rubber) to expand, and maybe by heating it up a lot and then placing it under a heavy object for awhile will cause it to stretch out initially and stay in that form as it cools...and I'd leave it under there for a week just to give it some "set" time.

If I'm doing this for a week then what am I going to use in the buffer time? My desk?!!?
