FT02 Concerns

Hi All, I posted this in the infinite FT02 thread, but I thought I might be able to throw it up as its own topic. Sorry that this is somewhat redundant in that similar topics have been covered before, still I'd appreciate anyone with first-hand experience willing to share some advice.

I want to move my rig to the FT02, but I have two primer concerns relating to the VGA setup. I have two HD5850s in CF with either Scythe Musashi's or stock coolers (one stock cooler blows near the top and outlets partially out the top partially our the back, the other is the reference it blows from the bottom and goes up/back)

1) One of the cards has to be in the 6th&7th expansion slots, so near the front of the FT02. I worry if it will be fed sufficient airflow by the front bottom fan (I only have 2HDDs in here, I can try to orient them at the far front).

2) I worry that the Scythe musashi's, which have worked great in the usual configuration, won't fly in the vertical orientation. If they don't, is there another cooler that would be recommended for the FT02? I called/emailed silverstone but didn't get much out of them, just the FAQ on their site.

I am highly enamoured of the FT02, I really respect the thought and design that went into it, much like I've had positive experiences with the GD04. But is it worth the potential problems or should I just play it safe and get an Antec 1200?

Thanks for any insight,
Darunium

Had my 260 SLI setup with a X58-UD3R (meaning bottom of the board, last few expansion slots near the front of the FT02)...never had any heat issues.

re: the Musashi, I don't see why that would cause any problems. It's still a heatsink that sits perpendicular to the card with fan(s) that suck air above the card and blow down onto the card....ie no different than a stock heatsink of a double slot gpu. Again, I never had any heat issues with my 260's in the FT02.
