Ive been bumping my fsb up 5mhz at a time and running memtest. At 265 memtest made it though 1 pass so I decided to escape out and up it 5 more. When I did this I was greeted with a long beep error code once the computer tried to restart. My question is why did I get an error instantly once I tried to restart at the exact same speed that memtest just passed.

rig? sometimes the bios is just quirky and does stupid things.. like how my dfi will boot set to 300x7 and when it gets to windows, it's at 300x9

yeah, i blame the abit. try again, see if it's repeatable, figure out what's causing it with trial and error
