FSB:CPU Ratio

Hrmm, I was wondering, I use 6:6 FSB to Ram ratio, I did it cause that is what I think I remember seeing everyone else at using a similar setup to mine... and I wonder if I'm doing the right thing or if I should make it 1:1 or something, could someone please explain FSB:CPU Ratio to me?
 
The ratio is how fast your memory is compared to computer's FSB.

For example, say your FSB is 250 Mhz. If you run 1:1, then Memory and CPU are both 250 mhz. If, say, you run 5:4, memory runs at 4/5 of what the CPU is, so it'd be 250 Mhz FSB/200 Mhz memory clock.

AMD systems aren't really good at running asynchronous ratios (anything that's not 1:1).
