BOTH ITEMS SOLD
Hello!
I am moving from my appt into a house and as such I'm getting rid of stuff I no longer need. Up for sale...
Rockit Cool 6th-8th Gen Intel Delid kit
About 6 months ago, I delidded my 6700K with fantastic results. It went from 4.0ghz to 4.7ghz, at 1.325v, and it rarely goes above 70C during a full gaming load. This is the mostly complete set needed to do it, and it even includes the other items you will need and are expected to buy. The kit itself is from Rockit Cool, and is the one that requires you to buy the Copper IHS (more on this below). The copper IHS is worth it, as it is not expensive and it does reduce the temps by a few Cs. It also looks really cool too. Below is a rundown of what is included and why you need it.
Microsoft Sidewinder 92626 Joystick SOLD
I am selling my approx 20 year old MS Sidewinder Joystick (USB) that surprisingly enough works perfectly. It used to be my mainstay for Freespace 2/Wing Commander way back in the day, but as the market moved on, so did I to kb+m and controller. It's sat unused gathering dust, where it would continue to stay if not for an impending home move. Rather than throw it away, I'm listing it here for cheap. It works just fine in Windows 10, I plugged it in to the front panel USB of my case and windows immediately recognized it. I even booted up Star Wars Squadrons and no customization was needed, the game recognized it and I was flying around the TIE with no problems. It has a few scratches here and there, but overall solid. Clean too, I wiped it down with disinfectant.

- Myjor Kapton Tape - You put this around the cpu die in case conducto liquid metal gets onto the contacts (BAD). Acts as a very inexpensive, but very good, insurance
- TG Conductonaut - This is why you are delidding in the first place. Apply this on both the cpu die and the IHS. Per TG's estimations, there are 8 more applications left in this tube.
- Alcohol swabs - For cleaning the cpu die and IHS
- Microfiber Qtips - For applying the TG Conducto. Do not use cotton qtips!!!
- Rockit Cool Delid kit - This is how you will safely be removing, and then later re-joining, the IHS. This relid template is for the Copper IHS, NOT THE ORIGINAL. See below
- Permatex Gasket - This is the sealer that will act as a bonding agent between the IHS and CPU PCB. Without this, you will have a 'floating' IHS and that isn't advisable for several reasons.
- My original 6700K IHS - You don't need this at all actually, but its free in case you want it.
- A 6th to 8th gen Intel processor
- Either 1) The Copper IHS, or 2) The original IHS template. You will have to contact Rockit Cool for this, but will be very cheap since this template is plastic.
- Thermal paste between IHS and your CPU Heatsink. This is very generic as most of you have tubes of this stuff sitting around.
