OK, I have a case that I got from a friend.. it's a microatx case and I'm not even sure what I'm going to use it for.. I think I'm going to mostly use it to experiment with some modding.

It's one of the ones that lay flat on your desktop, It's made by IBM I believe..

my biggest thing is.. there is a part in the front where a floppy drive would be. Is there anything I can use to cover that up? Fill in the hole or something along those lines?

I'll post some pictures of it when I get home, maybe some people can give me some modding idea's.
 
Go to AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, etc.. then get some body filler aka "bondo". You can fill in any contour lines you don't like, any holes, or gaps. Then sand it down smooth, primer, and paint. =)

Any advice on using it? anything I should know?
 
reading the directions works best.. lol. But, just do a few searches, and look up bondo tutorials for cars on google. Its basically the same thing, but applying it to a computer case. Make sure before you buy anything that it doesn't react with plastics.
 
another vote for bondo. i have used it several times to modify the bezel on several projects. best advice i can give ya is after you sand it down even, make sure you spray some primer before painting. maybe even two coats, if you dont, it might show through at some angles.
