I have a Sound Blaster Audigy SE and have it connected to PCI (obviously) as well as an adapter cable that connects to the front panel audio. Is there a way to have the volume automatically adjust when I connect my headphones via front panel? The volume is set in windows at 100% for the speakers and it would be nice if there was a way for the volume to have a preset of like 30% or something when I plug in my cans. I'm really sick of having my ears blown off whenever I plug them in. I've tried Creative Control Panel, but to no avail. Thanks in advance.
