Does anyone know how to connect a pintype front panel audio connector to an Creative x-fi xtreme music?

Yeah, but it's complicated. You have to make or buy an adapter cable so you can connect it to the 10x1 white connector on the top edge of the card. Info at http://audigy2zshowto.blogspot.com/

Be aware that while it will allow you to connect mic/headphones to your front jacks, it won't auto-mute the rear ones.

I guess I have the technical skills to build the cable, but I think I would buy in anyway. The parts to build it cost $15 USD. With shipping the cable cost $31. I think the my time maybe worth the $16 extra. But that is just me. I have also done somethings just to prove to myself I could it. I have worked with these small connectors before. They are a pain in the a** if you don't have to pin tools. Those tools are usually $20-$30 to get. So, that $31 cable can look pretty good at that point.
